2020 NSW Cyclocross State Championships presented by Central Coast Council and proudly hosted by Central Coast Cycling Club
All updates and race information will be posted on our facebook page and updated here: 2020 NSW Cyclocross State Championships Information Page.
Location: Matcham Valley Pony Club, Holgate. Use this map link to get directions > LOCATION MAP
Start time: 8am
Getting there: Wattle Tree Rd, Holgate
Parking - PLEASE NOTE: Only officials and volunteers will be parked inside the venue. All riders MUST park at Paul Oval (off Milina Road and on the above map link, the service road next to the cricket oval, you can see at the end it connects through to the Pony Club area, and that gate will be open). This is due to the course being extended, and also when it is wet, cars get bogged easily. The parking at the oval is easier and on a hard surface, we have room for about 60 cars there (please carpool if you can). We will have a parking attendant there to help you and the course back on to the parking lot so it's a short walk/ride to the registration area and start/finish line. Please keep space for others, especially if you have trainers/rollers setup for warm up etc. Thanks.

Race schedule subject to change depending on entry numbers and time constraints.
Start procedures: - Riders need to present for their race start at least 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time so that they can be Called-Up by Announcer and Commissaires.
Online entry cost is $30 (Juniors $10)
If the race is cancelled due to weather (Ha Ha, this is cyclocross, we don't cancel unless high winds make it dangerous!! There are lots of old gum trees about the course), all online entries will be refunded.
CX bikes MUST run CX tyres - 35mm max width (as written on tyre with tiny allowance for tyre flare on wide rims). Definitely no gravel grinder or Monster Cross tyres in CX Race Category. Riders can race the MTB Open event with any tyre, any bike.
PITS will be in operation: - As is the tradition in Cross, mechanical assistance must be taken from the designated pit area. Spare wheels & bike changes cannot be taken from random locations on the course - only in the pits. Riders must run the course to the pits if their bike is unrideable.
Junior categories are calculated from date of birth, using Cycling Australia membership categories.
All entries are provisional until reviewed by the race director and/or handicapper. If you are unsure of which grade to enter, pick which you think is the best, and put some notes in your entry for the handicapper to review. If you are an A grade road rider, please enter the Elite or A Grade race regardless of your cyclocross experience!
Still not sure? Please contact the Club, details are on our website for any further information.
