Melbourne Omnium will host the Madison of Melbourne at DISC on the 14th of November 2015. This event will see a number of events and categories including the grand finale - the 50km Madison. Races will include a combination of scratch races, point scores, snowballs, eliminations and keirins with each rider racing three races relevant to their discipline (sprint or enduro). Divisions 1 & 2 will see an Omnium format consisting of three mass start events.
Riders will race three races on the night.
Note:Due to the NJTS event at DISC, J15/J17 riders will be not permitted to start.

A current 2015 or 2016 Cycling Australia or UCI International license must be presented at registration. No license, no ride.

Note: We do not want to handle cash on the day. There will be a $10 "pay on the day" surcharge for riders who do not prepay.
Riders are able to scratch so we will be waitlisting riders so as to be able start full fields come race day. If you are waitlisted, there is a very real chance that you may still ride. If you are waitlisted and miss out, you will be refunded prior to the event. If you are waitlisted and decide not to wait for a potential race start, please scratch for a full refund. Waitlisted riders will be notified as slots become available.

Entry for Madison Pairs is $40 per person. Please pay in advance - there is a $10 surcharge for cash handling on the day.
The Melbourne Omnium relies on the goodwill and dedication of a wide group of people. If you would like to make a voluntary contribution to help with the event's financial success, please feel free to do so. This amount will be added to your entry fee. Any contribution is entirely voluntary.
