The Tom Probert Teams Race is unique event on the Northern Combine fixture and celebrates the achievements of Sunbury & Coburg life member, Tom Probert.
The format of the day is two main events, the Elite Teams Race and the B Grade Teams Race, plus support races.
This year will be the first year that Essendon Fields will be used for the Tom Probert, and should provide some very fast racing. Essendon Fields also offers the benefit of being a closed road circuit, something that is highly desirable for Teams racing.
Selection for the Teams races is determined by each individual club. Selected riders do not have to enter through Entry Boss as their Team Co-odinator will advise their Team's details on their behalf.
Entry Boss will however handle entries for Support Races.
Support Race 1: Women's A/B/C and Men's C (35 mins + 1 Lap)
Support Race 2: Men's A/B (45 mins + 1 Lap)
B Grade Teams Points Race - (50 mins + 1 Lap) up to 8 club riders. 1 team only per club.
Elite Teams Points Race - (60 mins + 1 Lap) up to 6 club riders. 1 team only per club.
Intermediate sprints: (to be finalised on the day)
B Grade Points Teams: 2 in total for points, double points on the final lap.
Elite Points Teams: Every 10 laps for points, double points on the final lap.
Women riders in Teams - double points in sprints.

10:45 B grade Points Teams - 50 mins
