In a response to ongoing feedback from our members, Cycling Queensland is exploring how to create a greater balance between Elite and Masters racing. By dispersing riders more evenly between these categories we will:
Therefore, in consultation with Cycling Queensland Sports commission and Clubs we are implementing a trial for Anzac 25 and Metro Championships that will allow Masters 1 and 2 riders to experience racing in an Elite category using their Masters License. Masters 1 & 2 License Holders can nominate to race in an Elite category deemed equivalent to their current Masters category.
Please note that this is not a compulsory change, riders choose to opt in.
